About this event

I’ve always been in awe of Seeing Eye Dogs and how they provide independence to someone with visual impairments. I recently had a chance to chat with one of our members, Patty, about her volunteer service at Pilot Dogs. And that conversation led to this tour.

A Pilot Dog can transform the life of someone who is blind or visually impaired, providing freedom and self-confidence. What a priceless gift.

If you’d like to learn more about how this is done, or have an interest in volunteering for Pilot Dogs, please join us for this 90 minute tour.

We will follow with a two mile walk (18-20 minute/mile pace) and then lunch at Tommy’s Diner (recommended by the Pilot Dog staff). https://maps.app.goo.gl/gKsoyanQEsK49YW87?g_st=ic
